很多同学喜欢用very这个词来表示“非常,很”,如very good, very cold等。
very tired
Looking after a baby on my own left me feeling totally exhausted. Can we sit down? I'm worn out. very sad She was heartbroken when her dog died. After his wife left him, he became depressed and refused to talk to anyone. He was devasted after his company went bankrupt. very happy The doctors say they are delighted with her progress. He is thrilled at the idea of going to Disneyworld. very difficult Mike found a challenging job as a computer programmer. Ricky was a very demanding child. very cold It’s freezing in this house. Can’t I turn on the heating? They have to get washed and dressed in a chilly bathroom. very hungry I’m starving. Let’s go and have some food. I’m famished. I could eat a horse. very angry (1)我们可以用furious表达“狂怒的”。 She was furious when she found out he’d been lying to her. Most people were outraged by the 9/11 attacks. It was the first time I’d seen her lose her temper. My mobile phone is extremely useful. She seems an unusually clever girl. I'm going to Greece in the summer so I've got to be super slim.
